Dr. Vladimir Novak has dedicated his career to advancing the energy transition toward a low-carbon society. With 25 years of experience at the intersection of technology and commerce, he brings a deep technical background and proven expertise in developing and commercializing clean energy solutions.
As both a C-suite executive and board advisor, Dr. Novak has shaped corporate strategies, opened new markets, and launched innovative business lines. His leadership has driven growth for both global energy supermajors and early-stage clean energy ventures, often through pioneering multi-industry, international collaborations.
Before joining Utility Global, Dr. Novak served as Co-CEO at CT-Coating, a leading innovator in functional materials for thin-film solar and solid-state batteries. His previous roles include Chief Commercial Officer at Ultra Safe Nuclear; Director of Strategic Partnerships at Chevron, where he also held positions across upstream, trading, and downstream segments; and Mergers & Acquisitions Technical Lead at GE Energy.
Dr. Novak holds a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology and an Executive MBA from Rice University.
